My 2008 Malibu won't start. The lights come on
and you can hear it click but then nothing

Sounds like a dead battery. Should have the battery and charging system checked. First you could try to clean the battery connections and make sure they are tight.

Sure sounds like a battery, I would try to charge it first. If you get it started go to Auto Zone if you have one near and have them test the battery and alternator...
