Miles to a tank full

Asked by Guru94F9H May 30, 2017 at 10:09 PM about the 2008 Ford Edge SEL AWD

Does any body know  A estimate amount of miles
that a 2008 Ford Edge gets to a full tank of gas at a
half of tank my trip reading is 225 miles and 137
miles to empty add them  together and I get 362
miles does this sound right

Your vehicle is rated for 16 City and 24 highway... seems like you're getting 19 MPG.... About average for your car.

OK, Yes, you win the prize for being stranded and out of fuel!!! The reason I divided 362 by 19 is that you don't want to run out of fuel and not be able to get yourself to the next has station.... trust me, you don't want to run out of gas.... So, 362/19 is 19 MPG leaving you one gallon of fuel...

These cars don't get very good mileage.... I recommend filling up when you reach 335 miles...not a great cruising range...
