You probably need a new/used motor or to rebuild (at the very least the top end of) yours unfortunately but you should have it towed to a shop so they can tear it down and inspect it. once overheated the aluminum head and even the engine block can and most likely will warp/crack. The best thing to have done in that situation is to get off the road ASAP after hearing the noise, before it overheated and to have inspected for leaks then have it towed home (if you're doing rhe repairs) or strait to a shop if you're unsure. Im sorry this isn't the answer you were hoping for but it is the realistic one.

The amount of miles mean nothing to an overheated engine. You can replace anything broken in the cooling system and your PS belt and hope for the best. Id fill the system with water for testing purposes (water is free and cools motors just fine) and if all is well after a couple days then drain water and replace with coolant. It is a VERY high probability that the cylinder head is warped and will never seal properly without machining and a new head gasket. You may get lucky but i doubt it considering you drove it home while overheating

Sorry serpentine belt not ps. You have the 2.4l 4 cylinder right? The water pump is driven off the serpentine belt so there was no coolant circulation after the belt broke.

So what happened with the car? I just had the exact same thing happen to 2015 accord. My serpintine belt broke off with 46000 miles on it and no signs of wear on the belt coolant was leaking and temp was high I noticed it quickly and parked it. Coolant was still at normal operating level so not to much of it leaked out. Did any other problems come from this? Thanks
