Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My check engine light came on during my drive into work.  When it came on, it started to run a little rough.  I continued to drive into work while the light was flashing.  When I came to my first stop, the car at idle was running very rough.  It continue to run rough until I got to about 45 mph when it became less noticeable.

When the CEL is flashing that means a more serious problem has been detected than a steady light. Do what TST said, soon

Dear I do have the same problem with my car. It is 2006 honda accord 2.4, the car vibrates while it is in the idle and the gear is in D mode, when the ac is on it will be more. I checked all the mounts, engine and gear . There is no issue. Please let me know if you have any idea. Also i noticed that when it is in the gear in idle and while pressing the brake slowly ,the car looks like some what slight jumps.

I was driving to work it came on I continued to drive their when I got to the parking lot it started flashing, I started to worry the car was shaking. I told my son he was with me he watches car videos. He said that it’s a misfire and don’t drive do to damage of the vehicle. So you need to change the spark plugs! Is what he told me.

2008 Honda Accord VSA and Flashing Engine Light... car went into "Safe mode" where it wouldn't accelerate above about 30mph. Pulled into gas station. Filled tank with premium gas (it was on Empty) Poured Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner and Lucas Octane Boost. Inserted a Code Reader into the module port and received code P0303 (misfire on cylinder 3). Cleared the code. Started and ran the car for about 10 minutes... a couple of small sputters and then everything became smooth again. Bad Gas? Clogged injector? Sediment from the bottom of the gas tank? Not sure but it's fine now.
