What's the cause of lose power on a 2008 Saturn
Astra Xr with 89,000 miles. I've cleaned the throttle
body, changed the air filter along with coil pack and
spark plugs. I've switched out some fuses. I've
cleaned the mass air flow sensor. I took it to the so
they diagnosed the mass air flow sensor but i get a
code for the sensor connected with the gas pedal
some where. Anyone ever got to the bottom of this
cars issue?

A partially plugged catalytic converter can cause a power loss.
i kept on losing power after a driving for 30 minutes and losing power on hills. my 2008 satern astra needed a camshaft timing solenoid posttender. the part cost about 80 $ bucks and the labor was about 60$ bucks at pepboys get some cupons on your labor and parts save some money . after the job was done in less than an hour i saw that i could have done it my sself
yes done allthat too which was needed mine is alot more miles, but check ya flex pipe i been having same code and when i read about that it made since, so i got new whole exhaust cause it may have rusted and moving etc changing sometime its good and bad driving it
I have exact the same car and the same thing is happening to me. Did you figure it out?

Mines was the throttle position pedal...the pedal and the throttle are. Wireless.. no wires or pulleys.. Soo mines was sending a low signal and wouldn't go pass 15miles.. went to the junkyard and fixed it.. problem solved.
You need to scan the pcm for failure codes,,they are notorious for intake manifold runner valves sticking,
