speedomoter light out on 2008 Prius

I have reset the light via disconnection the harness to the 12 volt battery. It comes on and the goes out after turning the car off.

The part is called "combination meter". In some cases Toyota will replace it for free. Unfortunately there is no aftermarket product. I have seen posts on eBay to repair the part. That means you need to take it out of your car and send the part in. I believe the cost at Toyota (if they won't cover it) is around $400 plus labor.
