I was driving on motor way , i accelerated to overtake the car in front of me, I discovered that the engine light was on and the car slowed down, I removed my foot from the speed pedal, any problem?

Step #1 is to read the trouble code(s) with an OBD II scan tool. If you dont have one, Auto Zone will read the trouble code(s) for you at no charge. Some other auto-care places offer to do this, as well. The trouble code(s) will be stored in your car's computer (as long as the battery is connected).
