Question type: Shopping & Pricing
I'm here because I saw a Used 2008 Mazda Grand Touring with 33,000 miles and a
clean Car-Fax record for $17,480. I'm wondering if this is a good buy or not, & , is this
a good car overall.

I have a 2010 2.2 Diesel CX7 (European model - Ireland) and I could't recommend it high eough - multiple extras including built in sat nav, rear reversing camera, electric / auto everything etc I'm getting 40 MPH easily which with EU high fuel prices is bonus. I did a load of research and had test drives in the Audi Q5 and BMW X3 before deciding that the CX7 was by far the best fitted, best handling and best value. I'll be keeping it for a few years. Hope this helps I assume th US model is similiar.
I got my 2007 with 15,000 for 15,999. I have had it a year and already want to turn it back in
The CX7 has some design flaws and requires higher maintenance. I would definitely search the online forums to see solid feedback. If you are looking for room and sport factor the size of the CX7 is great, but again there are a few of these on the road that have annoying issues. I would recommend getting a maintenance history on this one. If its a local car that has been to the local dealership then you should not have issues getting them to provide a history of what has been done to it. I think the price can certainly be adjusted down, even though the mileage is very low!
