Security system immobilizer

2008 Mazda Tribute. Won't start. Security light
blinks fast. Manual says its an immobilizer. But
that I have to take it to the dealer. Kinda hard when
it won't start. Anyway to reset it on my own

Remove the positive cable for ten minutes,may work,but if not you will have to take to a dealer,towed.
