Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car has been in the garage for 1 1/2 yrs not driven.  Can we charge the battery
and inflate the tires and drive it?

Maybe. Try it and see, the fuel system may or may not be gummed up. Use a good fuel system cleaner and put fresh gas in it.

Inspect those tires for dry rot and check all the fluids. Make sure you have brakes too! You might hear a slight grinding the first few times you apply the brakes. If it goes away after that, consider it normal. The brake rotors may have a bit of rust on them from sitting. Let the vehicle run for about a half hour before taking to the road with it. Hope that helps! Jim
