2008 dodge charger won't start

Asked by Midori Nov 13, 2013 at 03:47 PM about the 2008 Dodge Charger SE RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My key FOB will open the car and when I insert it into the ignition, a little red light flashes on the lower left of the dash.  It makes the ding sound.  Nothing else happens.  The accessories position yields nothing and the car will not turn over.  I also noticed that the mileage indicator no longer lights up to give the mileage when I get in the car, as well.

How old is your battery? If older than five, you are suffering from an undervoltage condition....get a NEW battery...refresh the ground connection at the end of the black cable~

Battery checked out good. Dealership said it was probably the key FOB or the computer. Nice. Thanks for your help.
