How can you figure out which O2 sensor you need in 2009 Toyota Corolla . I had an emissions test and the code that failed was O2 sensor. how do you figure out which one? I'm replacing it myself.
I had an emission test done on my 2009 Toyota Corolla S and it failed. The code that
failed was P0037. They told me they don't know anything and to go to a mechanic. I
looked it up (my engine light was on, as well) and it came up O2 sensor. I spoke with
Toyota to get some info and they wanted me to bring it in and charge me an arm and a
leg. They did say that it is usually only one that goes bad at a time. I'm trying to figure
out how you test for that. Should I just go to auto zone and see if they can help? I am
replacing it myself. Also, inquiring on price..they range from $40-160.. I was hoping if I
only need one not to spend more than $60-80 I want quality but I don't want the most
expensive, especially if I do not really need to spend that amount.
