Is there such a thing as a clear headrest for the front seats, that I can see through?

I have a lot of trouble seeing alongside and behind my car when I'm driving, or even backing out of the driveway. The front passenger headrest blocks my view. A clear headrest would solve my problem. Is there any such thing?

no there isn't but there are bike rider's helmets with rear view mirrors on them so you can see behind you while still looking in front of you!
understand your concern about visibility, but do not consider removing them. Whiplash can leave your passenger paraplegic
Booster seat, or a cushion. 're mount The seat higher .
Volvo and some other makes have donut hollow center, check wrecker yard, may well fit
Cheapest fix is to get some convex stick-on spot mirrors for your side mirrors. These are pretty effective at eliminating blind spots. There are also many car stereos now days with backup camera kits. Easy for the DIY'er, or not expensive at your local car stereo shop.
