We'd just bought it and it did it the next day. Our mechanic first thought it was the fuel pump but then it showed up as compression issues for starters. Towed it back to the party we'd bought it from and very, very luckily got our money back.

Nope, never did even with our mechanic looking at it. Returned it and got all our money back from the private party minus $200 towing. Still felt lucky to be done with it.

Still driving mine but some days it won't start. Told me it was compression after finally taking to Toyota dealership. Seems strange that it can run like a new one upon starting. i bought my car new, been serviced well. Strange thing. thanks for your reply
