is the chevy avalanche a good truck to purchase with 150,000 miles plus ?

Have a mechanic inspect it before buying. Personally I would look for a low mile truck.

Definitely have it looked at by a reputable mechanic! Mileage is good for the age of the vehicle, but it's still 150,000! Hope that helps! Jim
Agree. It's getting to be a high miler and that's when the annoying electrical problems often start. Also Air conditioning can be an expense on older vehicles. Otherwise they're pretty solid trucks. With that said, it needs to be cheap with those miles.
