HOW DO YOU CHANGE CLEAR FOG LIGHTS TO AMBER ON HONDA CIVIC EX-L
Asked by JW3231 Apr 22, 2008 at 12:16 PM about the 2008 Honda Civic EX-L
Question type: Car Customization
I'm told that on the 2008 Honda Civic AMBER fog lights are not available, only the clear ones are.
If you want normal AMBER fog lights, you have to buy and put them yourself.
Do the clear lights have a clear bulb that I can replace with an amber bulb?
What size are the clear bulbs?

Check with an auto parts store, these will have the bulb size and interchanges to amber bulbs.
Hi, I checked with the parts store and they don't know if the driving lights use an H4 light bulb. If it does they can give me an amber one. Do you know what size it has? Jim
try this (somewhere around the 4 minute mark): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAsMSDXQHXQ i know he's working on a civic type R and not an EX-L, but the process should be similar. in the above, he shows you both ways, 1. taking out the original and covering the lens with a special yellow/amber film & 2. covering the light without removing it. according to jon, buying a replacement is upwards of $300.
