when airbag light stays on ac doesn't come on

Both issues are unrelated. The airbag light is usually a sensor or wiring issue. Is it blinking a code? What is it? The AC might just need attention and a recharge.

hi thank you for your reply. there is no code, the airbag icon just lights up and I just think it's strange while I am driving the airbag light comes on and at the same time the air stop. When the airbag light shuts off, the ac turns back on. Every time throughout the day, this is just strange to me. Should I be getting an error code? all I get is the light and no air

I have the same issue with my jeep right now, and exactly how you are describing it. I had it checked out and the two problems are related. The airbag control module controls both the ac and the airbags this is why the airbag light comes on right after the ac turns off. You can buy a new control module but they are expensive new; about $400. I am trying to repair my old control module now but im not sure if clearing the hard codes will fix the problem, hope this helps

Hi thanks for your reply. Yes I am stll having this Problem but had forgotten about it during the winter months for it did not happened but as soon as the hot days started the problems started. I have 64.700 miles on this 2008 jeep bought it new and I wouldn’t believe all the things that occurred . Reported to jeep to no avail the o my thing the replaces when I had the truck for 12 months was the axle split it n half!
