Brake/Turn Signal failure

Asked by GuruX1CZN Oct 31, 2018 at 04:44 PM about the 2008 Ford F-150 STX SuperCab Flareside

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 2008 F150 STX. The driver side only,
brake light and turn signal do not work. Hazard on
driver side doesn’t work, but was told the reverse
light does work. All on the same bulb. I have
replaced the bulb as well as the light socket and
still nothing. Any suggestions?

Further diagnosis would include checking for voltage at the socket. My guess is that the problem may be wiring related, but that is just a guess. To properly check it out a wiring diagram would be helpful. Maybe ask your local Ford dealership's parts of service department to print out some wiring diagrams.
