why vent blows hot on cool day?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2008 Ford ranger. Even on cool or cold day, the vent blows hot air. Also the A/
C lower setting blows hot air, but the max air a/c setting will blow cold air.
Is there something I can repair easily myself? Would need to know name of
part(s)  and where located also. Thanks.

    AC take a long time to cool down because hot air is coming out and if its on just air not AC its just blows hot never just cool.
