how to reset the engine light

I replaced the accessory relay but didn't reset. The engine light, does it reset
automatically?

It should reset itself if you fixed the right thing. Try disconnecting the battery for about a half hour. That might just work. Then you can always bring it to AutoZone or Advanced Auto Parts and have them read the code if the light stays on.
