Most warning lights stay on: ABS, Brake, Tire Pressure, and parts store
scannerdoesn't pick anything up...2008 Silverado 15000. I believe this vehicle
was possible in flood waters prior to me purchasing. Is there a console or
sending unit that could have been affected?

Thank you very much for your response.. The reason I thought of possible flooding asside the lights staying on, is it also seemed to have ground problems. Sometimes all the dash lights flicker and then quit working...gas gauge, odometer, etc. but then turn key off, in a few minutes it usually starts working again. Also, I recently replaced the fuel pump and sending unit for the top of the sending unit rusted completely. I thought that was premature for a truck only 12yrs old.

You are very respectful with your responses, Thank You. One reason I decided to ask about this truck is, it seems a lot of people seem to be having trouble with this particular Make and model although you will have lemons in all makes.. I've not seen any recalls on this particular problem. I have restrained taking it to the dealer because they are about twice as expensive as regular automotive repair shops. Some repair shops will tell you that some problems can only be fixed thru the dealer...
