Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently changed the trans in my 2008 silverado 4x4 crew cab. I had it rebuilt
and reinstalled it. well i used a transfer case from my 2013 gmc (Has a 4l80)
and put it on my 4l60 in the Silverado. Now the rear tires will not spin. and the
transfer case is not spinning or engaging anything when i try to put the trans
in gear. I need some help ivedone all i know to do. Is this the wrong transfer
switch for my 2008? or what am i doing wrong?

The transfer case is electronically incompatible with your truck. Check with the dealer and see if there is a flash program they can use to make it work. If not then you need a numbers matching transfer case.
