Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Went for a long drive in my van and was
nearly home. Stopped at traffic lights,
heard a noise vehicle shuddered a bit. At
next light, after stopping, accelerated and
van didn't move, more strange noises,
moved shifter back and forth and
eventually engaged. It happened two more
times until I got home. Ideas??

sounds like transmission solenoids are sticking.

I have A Dodge Grand Caravan SE 2008 3.3l engine all the braking lights system went on including the abs esp/bas and the ebrake came on. And now it won't move forward and it reverses in a little bit and it gets stuck, can anyone help me out what the problem is?
