Dodge Grand Caravan

I just purchased this 08 Grand Caravan
yesterday. The engine light came on. I had
it checked at Pep Boys. It read brake
switch/ cruise control high voltage. Is this
just the brake switch by the brake peddle?

Yes replace the brake light switch.....>P0573 DODGE - Brake Switch 1 Stuck Off Possible causes....> - Faulty Brake Switch - Brake Switch harness is open or shorted - Brake Switch circuit poor electrical connection The P0573 codes is set when the stop light switch signal is stuck in the off position. Possible symptoms...> - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) - Stop light inoperative - Cruise control system inoperative P0573 Dodge Description.... When the brake pedal is depressed, the stop light switch sends a signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM). When the ECM receives this signal, it cancels the cruise control.
