Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The a/c had not been blowing cool air. i was going to add freon to see if it would help. Didn't get around to it yet. A coouple of days ago I turned the a/c on again and the engine died just like you turned the egnition off. Does the same thing when driving on the road, not like it is idling and stalls. Could it be the compressor has gone bad and seized up? Any help?

Hey Tim check this out. My son was driving down the high way last week with his 2006 Nissan Altima and all off a sudden the car over heat and just cut off. He try to start the car but it would not start. The car was towed back to the house and I tryed to start it and it did start. But cut off after about two minutes. What do u think is the problem?
