AC not working in my car.

I bought a 2008 Honda Civic LX off of a family member 2 years ago and the AC
has never blowen cold air since I got it. My heating still works, and when I put
on my AC it works if outside is colder temperatures. I'm trying to figure out what
may be wrong with it before I go take it in and pay for an inspection just for my
AC.

Do the cooling fans kick on when you activate the AC? If not, then that is most likely the problem, the high pressure gets too high shutting the system off. At cooler temps the air flow is enough to keep the pressures low enough to keep it activated. You really need a manifold set to test pressures.
