Oil light indicator

My oil light comes on while I'm not driving and my foot is
on the brake, but it goes off when i step on the accelerator
and drive what could that mean?

A low oil level, to a faulty oil level light, or oil pressure switch or oil pump. Check the oil level first and add as necessary before calling a mechanic.
