It would seem as though the car has somehow activated "Transport Mode" which will limit the functionality of electrical items on the car. Do the interior lights still work? If not, that's likely the issue. This can be repaired by using an OBDII code reader to delete transport mode and put the car back into user mode, thus enabling all issues with the accessories.
