Intermittentt Starting

Asked by John Apr 23, 2014 at 04:13 PM about the 2008 GMC Envoy SLT-1 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 GMC Envoy 4WD with the I6 engine, Drove car on Sunday started fine,
and went out today no start,

Had battery checked it’s fully charged, re-installed battery no start no solenoid click
nothing

Tried to start again, it started no hesitation drove down the street and back; shut it off
tried starting again, no start
flipped key 3 more times it started
Is this an ignition switch issue or is there a possible neutral safety switch problem (bad
ground) if it is the safety switch where is the safety switch located

Thank you in advance
