2008 Range Rover HSE, 56k miles, $23k...good deal or too good to be true?

Asked by dwinfreyson Feb 16, 2016 at 11:43 PM about the 2008 Land Rover Range Rover HSE 4WD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I am considering buying a 2008 Range Rover HSE with just over 56k miles one
previous owner for $23k. I would be going from a 2006 4Runner, so reliability
for this year is my biggest concern. Any first hand experiences with this year
and their reliability? I have a friend who recently got rid of their 2006 because
of too many issues.

Man, I hate to be a downer but going from a Toyota to a Range Rover is going to be a shock to you. Rovers are known to be problematic - regardless of the year

Recently bought 2008 Range Rover with 50,000 miles. So far it runs like a dream. Took it to PA. over the weekend. No problems getting up and down hills. I live in NY. So far it's great,,but I have heard all the naysayers and hope to prove them wrong
