Making an offer to purchase a vehicle

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In
What happens when someone makes an offer to purchase a vehicle and the
seller accepts the offer and the buyer never responds or communicates back to
the seller, how long can the seller wait before withdrawing the offer? What can
Cargurus do about such a situation like this? Can the seller remove the add
and relist it somewhere else to sell the car?

Welcome to the world of CarGurus! Meaningless offers galore! I just do whatever I want with my car.as far as listings go.
Thanks for your response. So I can ignore the offer and remove my add and advertise somewhere else with real serious buyers. Since Cargurus cannot effectively facilitate between buyers and sellers, what is the point of Cargurus is someone can just make offers and not follow through. This may open doors for scammers to make offers and scam people through the system because there is no accountability.
CG's does not intervene between buyers and sellers and neither do other sites. You have to do the work yourself! Selling is work which is why a lot of people trade cars in at a huge loss. AutoPay can handle the actual sale if you contact them.
Scammers do not make offers that they do not follow up on but FLAKES do.
You will find timewasters on all sites. On Cargurus its easier for them to contact you. They dont even have to type.Just click.
