I had a Car Max extended warranty,I pretty sure I got my money's worth. If it broke it was fixed.I took my car to the dealer for all of the warranty repairs.

If the warranty covers you to 100K miles, do it. The E92 can be finicky. I am not usually a big fan of extended warranties, but in this case, it more Cover Your Ass coverage. How much are they looking to charge for the warranty? I assume that it is good at BMW dealerships? I would ask the question. CarMax usually purchases lease returns,so they are not CPO vehicles to the best of my knowledge.
