Looking at buying a 2008 bmw 328i with 145k miles. How much would it cost to keep in perfect condition?

Probably more than it's worth! Before you buy check out the front end, cooling system, oil leaks, and transmission performance. Get a vehicle history report such as carfax and read it carefully! Any recurring cooling system repairs are a big red flag! Lack of service records or services done by a chain type of service facility is also a major red flag! In my opinion BMWs need to be serviced at the BMW Dealer or a shop that specializes in imports. Preferably high end imports like BMW, Mercedes Benz, etc. Proceed with caution! Hope that helps! Jim
