Cd/Dvd Problems

I have a 2008 Acadia SLT1 with rear entertainment.  The Cd/Dvd unit is going out, (the Cd will no longer
play discs and the Dvd is starting to eject discs randomly).  Can I replace the OEM receiver with an
aftermarket one and still play Dvds in the rear entertainment?
