I follow steps to pair my phone to my GMC 2008 and every time I say bluetooth it answers with thank you goodbye and never been able to get bluetooth

I have a Honda and it cant understand me ether.I do everything by hand. Are you paired to the car properly?

your 2008 is not equipped with bluetooth, that is why- it didn't come out in Acadias until 2010-2011- you will see a phone symbol on the right side buttons on the steering wheel and then a phone symbol with a slash through it right below it (I just can't remember which year)- to test it, hold the phone button down for 2 secs and it will say "ready"- then you say " bluetooth" and it will say "bluetooth ready" and then you would say "pair"- the 2008 doesn't have those buttons.

Yes it does have the telephone icon symbol on the steering wheel that's the 2008 Acadia SLE but you cannot make the Bluetooth work why is that ?

2009 have it I just can't get the music to work
