Truck wont shift into reverse after warming up but will go into reverse if engines cold

I just installed a rebuilt transmission into a
2008 GMC SIERRA, it shifts fine when first
started but after it warms it won't go in reverse.

I think the trans in your truck is a 4L80E. I have seen the low/reverse piston seal leak and cause your problem. It is possibly that the builder nicked the seal when they were assembling it
