Either there's a short or the A/C compressor is bad and drawing too much current.

I have a 2003 Yukon XL that was blowing heat from the passenger side while the a/c was on and is now blowing a/c'd air while the heat is on. I cant see how this would be a heater core problem. 1 Answer
A/c is definitely on, I hear the compressor turning on and off.
