Denali AWD system

Asked by Wekivaace Dec 18, 2008 at 06:31 PM about the 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Crew Cab AWD

Question type: General

How does the AWD work in snow? Is the system split between the front and rear? In other words 60% traction in the rear and 40% traction in the front. I also have the factory posi-traction rear.

Thank you!

Allan

you have full time all wheel drive it always works so in the snow if the rear wheels slip the system applies more power to the front wheels it is usually half and half if its on snow and you are slipping a little.
