No heat throughout the whole car, what could be wrong?

Asked by LIROL0469 Mar 02, 2014 at 02:52 PM about the 2009 Dodge Journey SXT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2009 Dodge Journey SXT 2WD 102,000 3.5 engine
The car doesn't overheat
the tempurature doesn't go over the middle line
the coolant is filled up
no heat on right side, left side, or rear it will only blow cold
the car still runs fine, when I turn the heat on it doesn't make any sounds when the air is blowing.

Ther is a fan resistor on chrysler products it in the vent under the driver side dash most times, if the speeds for fan are not working it could be that. Ther is also a blower motor relay under the hood. In the fuse block. Check those. Also if the coolant is low it will do what you said, not enough in the system to get into the heater core. it seams to me that you blower is not coming on. Is that correct? Good luck
