Is it possible to knock a sensor loose when having a filter changed?

Asked by ccurry1982 Dec 11, 2014 at 08:40 AM about the 2009 Mitsubishi Galant ES

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently had the oil changed and filter replaced. upon leaving the car would not go over
25 mph now I cant drive it I cant even give it power. I stopped at the auto store and they
ran a diagnostic test it stated that the throttle sensor was messed up. Not sure where to
go from here.

Coincidence. Go to YouTube and watch a video on how to change it out. Not a hard job.
