notice smoke/hot air from front right grill is this normal cooling does not smell antifreeze?

Did you open the hood and see where it's coming from?
Inspecting to find the source would be a safe bet. Then perhaps we could help. Visible smoke is never normal or good. Did you spill any fluids in the area of your fan shroud?

The most common cause of such is coolant leak from stress crack in the radiator around where the upper rad hose is attached. Check for white residue there to confirm.

You may also have a bleeder screw that has cracked. Very common and about $3.50 to replace. The ABS just craps out after 5-7 years.
