Will a 2006 2.2 Chevy Cobalt engine fit into a 2009 Chevy Cobalt that also takes a 2.2 engine?

If its the same size engine, the bolt patterns will line up. I have a 2008 with a 2.2 engine, bolt patterns same as 2006 2.2. So if you have a 2.2 in your 2009 it will fit. No Worries...

no there 2.2 engines but the 09 is a vvt and the 06 isn't
