I have a 2009 Chevy Cobalt LT Sedan. My problem is the car shakes from 45-65 mph. If i am outside that range it does not shake. The steering wheel does not shake just the dashboard and the engine. I have got 4 new tires and have had them rotated, balanced and aligned the issue still continues. I have have a ball bearing replaced as well as new shocks and mount. Could it be the transmission? What could be the problem?

check out the rear UJ's on the prop, or check out for any wear in the suspension, also look at the engine/transmission mounts for wear and excessive play. consult a qualified technician about your malfunctioning automobile

What brand of tires did you put on this vehicle? Did it vibrate before the tires were changed? You could have an engine miss or a transmission problem causing the vibration. It sure would be difficult checking the U-joints when you have no drive shaft on your front wheel drive machine. LOL. GearheadRHINO's post is the perfect example of why not to believe much that you read on this or any other forum.
