I have a 2009 Chevy Malibu 1lt 4 cyl.my check engine light will not go out. I have replaced the sender's and made sure all fluids were topped off and no leaks what is going on.

It could be as simple as replacing the gas cap or making sure gas cap is tight but what you really need to do is take vehicle to parts store like autozone and have them scan for codes it will tell you exactly why the check engine light is on then you can fix problem instead of throwing parts at it hoping it will go off and also autozone will scan for codes for free.

Have it read for codes, even if the check engine light is NOT on the computer will have stored information and codes. Discount auto stores will read codes for no fee. write them down.

I have a 2009 Chevy Malibu, all electrical accessories work from the Heat/AC to the sunroof and heated seats. when I turn the key to start position I get nothing not even a click, also the service ESC light, the service Power Steering light, BRAKE light are on (no check engine though). Ive checked every fuse and relay, both plugs on the BCM and ECM there is no corrosion and has power to everything. When I check the Starter solenoid, with a test light, I get no juice in any key position. I am losing power somewhere but cant figure out where been searching for 3 weeks and don't know where to turn next, Please help..... 3 Answers
