Yup thorttle body i bought a malibu for cheap and already knew i would get that code seeing that there was electrical tape on the old one but im assuming the tweakers at the car lot i got it from taped the rim to get a air tight seal beacuse the gasket on top was trashed

But it really easy to replace its 4 (12 mm) bolts and a electrical connetion i went to a shop after buying because its a smog year so i was gona let them do the smog work because u can tell there was gona be a few bad hoeses it wasn't maintain but for 3 gasket replacements one was the for the thorttle body, a air check valve for the exhaust and a new thirttle body just those 5 parts and labor plus smog certificate was 1,155 i couldn't pay that much lol so i did t oay fir shit and got the thorttle body with gasket for 180$ , throttle body and air intake cleaner for 5$ cleaned it all up put the new one in and idleing was low at 700 rpms before it never dropped below 1100 and before hand my care would go into reduce power mode and show tire traction warning but the new thorttle body and cleaning solved it all if u want the best performance check your air filter as well and clean mass air flow sensor
