Replace indicator control switch 2009 Chevy Malibu ltz v6

Asked by GuruJN677 Aug 03, 2020 at 02:08 PM about the 2009 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Dealer has advised it could cost up to $902 if original control switch is not in
conformity with new replacement switch. Also told they cannot tell which switch
is in the car until they disassembly unit. If this is so what is my least cost
option?

Stop going to the dealer and find an independent shop. I would be looking at used parts before I would pay $900.
