When my car goes up a slight incline it begins sputtering. It also only does it around 60mph. It's a 2009 Buick Enclave. I thought maybe I got bad gas.

What octane gas do you use because some of these vehicles to day needs the high or middle grade gas to run right. It will still run with the low octane gas but have poor performance. If you do use the low octane gas put some octane booster in gas tank or fuel injector cleaner.
I just bought the car Friday. We went on a trip and it ran great. Stopped at a ha action and got the cheapest gas (87). I just ran all that out
I just ran almost all of it out, put fuel injector cleaner in, and filled up with the highest octane gas. I'm assuming it may take a tank to get it all cleaned out?? Literally I just put new gas in.

You do not have to use the middle or high octane gas all the time just switch it up sometimes. Just do not fill up with low octane but will not hurt if just putting in $ 20 -30 sometimes.
ok thanks. I'm praying it was the gas and it will be ok. I can't afford to repair a car I just bought. We will see.
The car ran a little better today. It did not sputter nearly as much as the other day. I haven't even gotten down to a 1/2 tank of the new gas. Maybe by the time I finish this tank it will be cleaned out??

What brand of fuel injection cleaner did you use ? I have found that Lucas fuel injector cleaner is the best.

Hey tennisshoes never tried that one before will give it a try and tell you what I think.
I used the Lucas brand. I will try to find the sea foam. Where do I get that? Walmart?
I got the seafoam and put it in before this tank of gas. For the first quarter of a tank it never did the sputter. It's done it a few times today. Still it's not as much as it was doing it before the sea foam. Just wanted to give you an update.
So my check engine light came on and it's my timing chain. I have to bring the car to the dealership Monday. I believe it is covered under the warranty so hopefully I don't have anymore issues. Guess my problem wasn't a gas problem.
