simple... Longer stroke and larger displacement, (Basically two 800cc rotors) and Direct injection... compared to ( two 654cc rotors) ....... direct injection (a more precise method of metering and injecting fuel) and the renesis 1 exhaust ports on the sides of the housing, controlling overlap make for cleaner emissions
2avp, sensors, 2 knock sensors. better located oil injectors. also two metering pumps. more fuel and air at 6000rpms.
All true, but that dosent answer the original question, of how mazda is going to increase displacement, of a rotary"wankel " engine.... that does however explain further how there going to keep it in an LEV class. between both answers you get the jitst of what mazdas up to.....thanks Derrick!! hope weve covered it for ya John......Joe
