my a/c is having trouble

My a/c in my 2009 g6 gt was not very cold so i add freon but since the air is coming out warmer and it ticks every few seconds what can be the problem and would it be covered under the warrenty

when you say not cold enough, place a cooling ther in the vent place on recir air, and see what temp air is?should be around45 to 40 yor can also let some ref out , to get it where it was before, you did not say if you added ref with leak finder, which shows where the leak is

If it is not cool enuff,you may have to add more freon,especially if compressor kicks on and off every few second,s,that ,s sign of low freon.

You shouldn't add that yourself, there's a very specific amount of Freon needed. You could have overcharged it, or blown out you're a.c. condenser
