this car has gm dealer check it out and found a short under passenger seat and fixed it, so they thought? took to a indpendent shop and they thought they fixed it . but after driving it about 40 miles it starter to act up again. first the abs light came on and then all the warning lights came on plus the trans. started shifting hard. this was the problem to start with

Hello, have you cleared the trouble codes from the vehicle after fixed it? If not, maybe you can have a try. You can do this with a obd2 scan tool, once the fault codes have been erased, the mal-functional lights will be turned off. Just like Autel tools, MD806 PRO, MD808PRO , these all system tools can do it. As it can check engine, abs, srs, sas, epb, dpf, transmission and more. Hello, I am 16 years old. My mom bought a car for me just yesterday. It is a used 2006 Chevy HHR LS (Color: Maroon). We have a big problem, and I have tried searching the reason for this possible 'error', but have found nothing. The problem is that whenever I open the car door to get in, after a few seconds, the hazard signals come on (where both blinkers are on), and after a moment, (10-15 seconds) they cut off. This happens as well when I turn the car off, and go to get out, I even lock it. They cut off after 10-15 seconds, but this isn't normal I am guessing. If anyone that does know what is going on could possibly help, that'd be very helpful. Thank you for your time. 1 Answer

Hazard lights turn on before engine start up, and remain on for 10-15 seconds (turns off when car turns on) Hazard lights turn on after engine turns off, and remain on for 5-10 seconds.
